If you have a child born in 2010 or 2009, they are invited to register to attend JK or SK in September 2014. We will be holding our Kindergarten registration at Smithson P.S. on Tuesday, Feb 11th from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm and Thursday, Feb 13th from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Please call the office 519-578-3890 to book an appointment for Kindergarten Registration.
In addition, four central Kindergarten registration opportunities will take place for families unable to register their child during office hours. These registration events will take place as follows:
Saturday, Feb 8, 2014 @ WRDSB Education Centre, Cambridge Room 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Tuesday, February 11, 2014 @ Bluevale CI 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Wednesday, February 12, 2014 @ Forest Heights CI 5:00 pm -8:00 pm
Thursday, February 13, 2014 @ Galt CI 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm
The Elementary Student Registration Form and Student Immunization Form must be completed and brought with the following documentation to register students in kindergarten:
- Immunization Records if the student is a new registrant with the Waterloo Region District School Board
- Proof of Age e.g. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport
- Documentation of Canadian Citizenship Status if the student was born outside of Canada
- Proof of Address e.g. a copy of residence property tax bill or a utility bill containing parent/guardian name and address of residence or a copy of offer to purchase a residence or a copy of lease/rental agreement for a residence
