Dear Smithson Public School Families,

I want to make you aware of a situation that is affecting our school. This afternoon, we discovered that our tap water was discoloured. As a precaution, we removed access to water for drinking while water lines are being flushed. Bottled water was made available for students and staff. The water in our sinks and toilets remained safe to use.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We are working with our Facilities team and authorities at the City of Kitchener to get this issue corrected in a timely manner.
