Hello Smithson Community. The Waterloo Region District School Board  offers a full range of Before and After School Programs. Now is the time to register your intent to use one of these programs for the 2014/15 School Year. There is is no money to put down-only your intent to use the service. If you are currently using a Before/After Program it is important that you register for next year as well.

Please log into the WRDSB web site and go to Programs and Services. You will see a drop down menu for Before/After School Programs. A menu will come up that looks like the image below. Please contact the school should you have any questions.

The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) offers two fee-based Before and After School Programs in our schools for our students: Extended Day for children in Grades JK- Grade 2 and Youth Development programs for children in Grades 3 -6.

School-based child care programs offer you access to high quality programs in one convenient location, with no waiting lists.

Programs are offered from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, PD Days, March Break and the non-statutory week at Christmas.

All programs offer:

• flexible registration
• nutritional snacks
• age-appropriate programming and resources

These programs are offered in schools with Full Day Kindergarten and are subsidy eligible through the Region of Waterloo.

Please select from the following two registration options:

Register for the current school year (September 2013- June 2014)

Register for next school year (September 2014 – June 2015)
