2. Our first Lunch box order from Mr. Sub will be delivered today. If you would like to order lunch for your child from Swiss Chalet, Mr. Sub or Pita Pit, register your child online at lunchboxorders.com Lunches are delivered every Friday at the second Nutrition Break. Orders must be submitted by Sunday at 12pm for the next week’s order.
3. Planner Money. If you have not yet paid for your child’s planner (Grade 1-6), please submit payment of $7 as soon as possible. Payments can be made online on School-Day.com
4. Smithson Breakfast Program will be starting on Wednesday, September 30th . The program runs Monday-Friday starting at 8:15. Breakfast is served from 8:15-8:40, at which time the children go outdoors for supervised play. If you would like your child to attend, please complete a permission form. If you would be interested in volunteering to help with serving breakfast and student supervision, please indicate on your permission form.
5. Norcard fundraiser starts today and runs until Tuesday, October 13th. Your child will bring home a brochure today. Fundraising profits go towards enhancing student learning.
6. The First School Council meeting of the 15-16 school year was held on Wednesday, September 23rd. This year’s Co-chairs are Kerry Lofft and Gail Prince, Treasurer – Lorraine Buckley, Secretary-Ashley Harasym. The decision has been made that the Fall Fun Fair will be postponed at this time. Next meeting is Wednesday, October 14th at 6:30 pm, all are welcome to attend.
