MATH NIGHT – April 18th from 6:00 – 7:30!!
Our School Council will be hosting MATH NIGHT at Smithson on Thursday, April 18th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. This event is made possible through our PRO (Parents Reaching Out) grant. We are excited to welcome “Jump2Math” for this event (https://jump2math.ca/about/) – they will be setting up lots of fun games, stations and activities that are a blast and are super interactive and engaging for the whole family.
Volunteers are needed to help run the event (set-up, clean-up and monitoring the activities). If you are available to help in any way, please contact our School Council via their email: smi-schoolcouncil@wrdsb.ca
Important notes:
- No shoes will be permitted in the gym – please wear or bring you cozy socks or non-marking slippers to wear in the gymnasium.
- Food and drinks are also not permitted in the gym, so snacks and drinks will not be served. Please bring your own refillable water bottle if you would like to use our hydration stations.
- Families must sign a waiver before participating – these waivers can be completed (1 per family) at the door.
